HAAS® I/O Board Exchange & Repair

Break down today. Make it work again tomorrow.

What the I/O board does

The I/O PCB is the interface between the control and the real world: it reads the door switches, air-pressure switch, lube pressure switch and tool-changer sensors, and it switches the relays for coolant, air, lube pump, tool changer solenoids and the spindle fan. It is one of the most commonly failed boards on a Haas because every output on it is a relay that can weld or burn.

Signs it has failed

  • Coolant pump, air blast or lube pump won’t switch on (or won’t switch off)
  • Alarm 120 LOW AIR PRESSURE or 121 LOW LUBE with the gauges reading fine
  • Tool changer faults where the solenoid never fires (alarms 113–115, 125)
  • Door-open or chuck-clamp faults with the switches proven good (alarm 175)
  • One relay visibly burnt, or a relay that clicks but nothing happens

If one of these is on your screen, this is likely the part — each links to our plain-English guide.

Why they fail

Relay contacts wear out driving inductive loads like solenoid valves and pump contactors; coolant mist corrodes the connectors; and a shorted solenoid coil will take an output transistor with it. Because faults are often on a single output, a repaired board is usually as good as new.

Part numbers we cover

Common part numbers: 32-3080M, 65-1055M, 65-3083T. Availability varies by machine model and revision — call with your part number or machine serial and we’ll confirm on the spot.

How Exchange & Repair works

  1. You call, we quote on the spot. Phone diagnosis to confirm the failed part. We tell you honestly whether we hold that unit, the fixed swap-in fee, and the fixed replacement price if yours can’t be repaired.
  2. We bring the part within 24 hours. An engineer arrives with the loaner, fits it, proves the machine and takes your original away. You’re cutting again the same day.
  3. You keep the loaner while we repair yours. Proper diagnosis at the bench, no time pressure. If we repair it, we swap back at your next service. If we can’t, you keep the loaner and pay the fixed replacement price you were quoted on day one.

Fixed pricing

One fixed swap-in fee plus a fixed price list for every replacement part, sent to you the moment you call. No hidden costs. If we repair your original, that’s all you pay.

Same warranty as a new HAAS® part

Every part we exchange carries the warranty HAAS Automation, Inc. gives on the equivalent new component — parts and labour, in writing, from the day we fit it.
